Starknet will launch Bitcoin staking feature, with BTC staking computing power weight set at 0.25

According to Foresight News, Starknet has announced that SNIP-31 has officially been approved, and Starknet is about to launch Bitcoin staking functionality. The specific parameters are as follows: The BTC staking computing power weight is set at 0.25, giving BTC the highest 25% influence in consensus computing power, with the remaining portion allocated to STRK; WBTC, LBTC, tBTC, and SolvBTC are authorized to stake on Starknet; governance rules for the approval of the new BTC wrapper have now been established. The official release will take place in the coming weeks.
