Trump stated on his social platform "Truth Social" that he greatly respects the court for having the courage to overturn this illegal and shameful ruling, and from a business perspective, this ruling represents "an unprecedented political persecution." On the same day, the New York State Attorney General's office filed an appeal regarding the Appeals Court's rejection of the ruling.
