America - China officially suspends tariffs for an additional 90 days 🧐

This is the result of the third round of negotiations between America and China at the end of July. At that time, the extension agreement was still open, but today it has officially been signed by President Trump.

The ceasefire will be extended for an additional 90 days, maintaining the 10% supplemental tax for both parties until 10/11.

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, imports from China have shown signs of decline in the past 5 months. Since February 2025, the deficit has decreased by a total of $22.2 billion, equivalent to 70% compared to the same period last year.

In particular, in June 2025, the America - China deficit will only be 9.5 billion USD, the lowest since February 2004.

Continuous agreements are only intended to give both sides more time for a "temporary ceasefire" to "prepare forces" for the prolonged economic war. America needs time to strengthen its alliance against China and ensure a supply of rare earths for high technology. China needs time to complete its independent economic ecosystem and stabilize its domestic market.
