SEC terminates lawsuit against Ripple and shifts to developing an encryption regulatory framework

[Coin World] Hester Peirce, a commissioner of the SEC, stated that the SEC's lawsuit against Ripple has officially ended, and relevant efforts can now shift towards the development of an encryption regulatory framework; SEC Chairman Paul Atkins expressed his agreement, calling it an opportunity to shift the focus from the courtroom to policy drafting, with the goal of establishing a clear regulatory system that both promotes innovation and protects investors. Previously, the case accused Ripple of raising $1.3 billion through the sale of XRP as unregistered securities.
