Recently, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States issued an important warning, revealing the emergence of a new type of Crypto Assets scam method. According to the FBI report, criminals are disguising themselves as law firms, specifically targeting victims who have previously suffered from Crypto Assets fraud, attempting to defraud them of their funds again.

The characteristic of this new type of scam is that the fraudsters exploit the victims' desire to recover their losses by posing as legal professionals, promising to help victims reclaim their stolen funds. The FBI has listed several warning signs to be aware of in their alert:

1. The so-called lawyer claims to have a special relationship with government agencies or regulatory bodies.
2. The law firm claims to have partnerships with some organizations that do not actually exist.
3. Require the victim to pay the "service fee" in the form of Crypto Assets or gift cards.

The FBI emphasizes that legitimate institutions will never request payment in these ways. This type of scam is particularly dangerous because it specifically targets those who have already suffered losses and may be more vulnerable and eager to recover those losses.

In the face of this new type of scam, the public should remain highly vigilant. If you encounter a lawyer or organization claiming to be able to help recover losses in Crypto Assets, be sure to carefully verify their identity and qualifications. At the same time, remember the basic principle that legitimate organizations will not ask for payment in the form of Crypto Assets or gift cards.

This warning highlights the risks and complexities of the Crypto Assets market once again. Investors and ordinary users should remain vigilant and enhance their learning of knowledge related to Crypto Assets to avoid falling into these carefully designed scam traps.
