Standard Chartered Bank: Norway's Central Bank Investment Management Company (NBIM) increased its holdings of Bitcoin-related assets by 83% in Q2.

CoinVoice has learned that, according to The Block, Standard Chartered Bank's digital asset research chief Geoffrey Kendrick stated that the Norwegian Central Bank Investment Management Company (NBIM) increased its Bitcoin-related asset holdings from 6200 BTC equivalent to 11400 BTC in the second quarter, an increase of 83%. The fund mainly gained Bitcoin exposure by increasing its holdings in MicroStrategy (MSTR) stocks, while also slightly increasing its holdings in Metaplanet.

Currently, MicroStrategy holds 628,900 BTC, Metaplanet holds 18,100. Kendrick maintains a target price of $200,000 for Bitcoin by the end of the year and predicts it could reach $500,000 by 2028.
