Gnosis Chain proposes a $10,000 bounty reward for researchers who discover consensus vulnerabilities.
[Chain News] PANews reports that the core team of Gnosis Chain proposed to pay a one-time bounty of $10,000 to researchers who discover consensus vulnerabilities. According to proposal GIP-132, the vulnerability was disclosed by a researcher on February 25, 2025, and could lead to a chain split. The issue was fixed on March 17 through an update from Nethermind. If the vulnerability were to be exploited, it would result in Nethermind and Erigon processing transactions inconsistently, thereby triggering a chain fork.
