On Monday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via X that it has partnered with Densan and SMBC to explore new services for payments and settlements across Japan
Densan processes payments at more than 65,000 convenience stores and retail locations nationwide. SMBC is one of Japan’s top three megabanks. The Partnership will explore stablecoin issuance, distribution, and settlement, powering remittances, B2B payments, and consumer transactions.
