Gate Charity Led A Successful Initiative to "End Plastic Pollution and Build a Sustainable Green Future" in Kaohsiung

Gate Charity, Gate Group’s non-profit philanthropic organization, proudly announces the successful culmination of its event, “End Plastic Pollution and Build a Sustainable Green Future”, held on 4 May 2024. The initiative, aligned with Earth Day’s global theme of “Planet vs. Plastics”, aimed to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainability.

In partnership with the International Volunteer Club of Kaohsiung Medical University and various student groups, Gate Charity volunteers engaged in mountain cleaning and ecological maintenance activities at Nanshou Mountain.

Volunteers then dedicated themselves to environmental protection activities, emphasizing collective action against plastic pollution.

Highlighting innovation in environmental advocacy, Gate Charity collaborated with three artists to create themed artworks, transformed into NFTs for charity sale. Proceeds from NFT sales will support environmental protection initiatives.

Gate Charity extends gratitude to partners, including the Kaohsiung Medical University International Volunteer Club, for their support. Gate Charity reaffirms its commitment to international volunteerism and environmental protection and drives positive change towards a greener future.
